With this in mind, the Department of Science and Technology- National Capital Region (DOST-NCR) joined forces with the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS) and the City Government of Parañaque to celebrate World Tsunami Awareness Day last November 5-6, 2018 at the Parañaque Sports and Social Hall in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.
